Hi, IK-A, I've been away from this site for a while and your post was the first one that caught my attention. You have gotten some great feedback. Two points appeared in my mind immediately to share with you.
1. A pre-talk is more about listening than talking. It sounds like you might be overwhelming the client with everything you know. Let them talk more so you can hear the best way to induce hypnosis for them.
2. Sometimes clients come across as analytical, but the real problem is that they have suffered some sort of serious abuse and they are very wary. Spend more time building trust. I like to use a "let's do this exercise first before we do any hypnosis" induction on these people, especially when they tell me that no one has ever been able to hypnotize them.
