I got an ad today for a 9 day training in Chiang Mai Thailand led by Stephen Brooks. I never heard of him but since I'm very interested in Learning Ericksonian everything it sounded very interesting. Anybody ever do the 9 day masterclass by Stephen Brooks and any opinions / advice.
Thanks so much
Finding True Magic , Jack Elias is grounded but he goes to some unusual places. He's in Seattle and a very interesting guy.
I'm still in the non practicing training phase. I've done several trainings including HAA in old school analytical Gil Boyne style hypnosis and while I respect that it works for those who do it , it does not appeal to me .
Now I'm doing John Oberdurfs Training Trances 8 day course on Video and loving it.
I have been in touch with Jeff Zeig at the Erickson Foundation and he has allowed me to train with them since I'm a PT, as long as I stay within my scope of practice, pain control, stress illness, medical hypnotherapy which is my interest.
I don't know anyone who ever trained with Brent Geary, Jeffrey Zeig, or Lilian Borges, at the Erickson Foundation in Phoenix. They run foundation , intermediate and advanced ;1 week programs for about $650. each, which is very reasonable.
My concern is that these programs will be too academic and psychologist jargon based for me to really learn.
Appreciate feedback from anyone who ever trained at the foundation or who has trained with these trainers.
