Ideomotor Typing (Modern Autowriting)

It could be your mind is working on other things while it satisfies other thoughts put on hold.

In your example: "throughout history man  had only one thing on his mind"

Snow = snow Plow, snow blower, cool, virgin snow

Or just a Freidian slip of the fingers

Interesting none the less, you'll have to wait till it happens again and look with a knew awareness

Online addiction treatment ?

You might look at the website of Shokat Ali, life principles, he is excellent with addictions, most problems solved quickly, with the tougher heroin and meth 3-5 visits, he hasn't written 27 books, and has nothing to sell you, but has a mile long list of people thanking him on videos, and very reasonable.

PS, if anyone has any Jeffery Stephens videos for sale, I'd like to buy them, been looking for a while

PTSD

[quote="Don G."]
By coincidence, I am writing this as I am sitting in the lobby of the Hilton Garden In at the Allentown-Bethlehem  Airport.in Pennsylvania, preparing to take a class by Courtney Armstrong. LPC, MSHP, entitled, "The New Rules for Treating Trauma: Integrating Neuroscience to Rewire the Brain." (There's that "R" word again! ) The course has been approved by the American Psychological Association for continuing education credit. The brochure says in part, ------------ "Were you taught to use medication, CBT, exposure and other traditional therapy approaches to treat drama? Did you know that these approaches are limited when it comes to treating trauma at the deeper, emotional level of the brain? Also do you know that memory reconsolidation is a recent Neuroscience breakthrough that revealed the brain's own rules for treating traumatic memories and allows you to clear trauma at its roots?

I'm glad you found Courtney Armstrong, her trauma book is excellent. She studied under Dr Jon Connolly who I've wanted to attend his trainings but never had the time. What I like about his methods is he uses a disassociated method of talking about the event, "that thing that happened", that thing we will put over there, he discribes the hand will leave an impression in the sand, and with time and wind the impression will change. I hope you will share any insights you pick up and let me know what you think of Courtney's seminar. PS Jon has a couple vids on his website or did have.

Can you create an anchor in someone through social media, etc?

Not much one can add after Barry's through explanation, but if you want to anchor some feeling into someone then a good copywriting book will get you started. If you want to get people to a hypnosis website just look what the successful sites are writing, success leaves clues. Welcome to hypnothoughts

Question on Mesmerism

"The direct gaze induction by a mesmerist is a triggering of a fight, flight or freeze response."

Of course it's true, lot's of examples to watch. There are many examples in the animal kingdom of animals shaking off the stress after being chased, thousands of somatic practitioner's and thousands of Dr David Becelli practioners shaking off trauma events very effectively, wherther this process is in line with what Mesmer was doing vs what Parent is teaching I don't know. Reminds me of a story in the book provacitive hypnosis where a female client being surprised by a rapist just froze even though she had trained in martial arts, he then reinacted the event and serveral more times and she still frose, he then forced her to fight back argressively till he was comfortable she reacted how she wanted to. The chicken thing, im not so sure about, the vegans may revolt

Irina, You dont give them a chance to doubt it?

Kind of like any hypnosis induction, don't give them a chance. Just follow my instructions.

Looking for feedback on book cover

It's difficult to tell that's a woman's hand as no polish and length. I would have two different color hands, black/white, male/female, hairless arms, manacured nails, defused lighting, blured background or a picture of the utube famous Trump handshake

What has happened?

If this site just charged a small fee say, $1.99,. It would soon have enough funds to handle the volume and develop a database that's worth searching. I'm sure they could tap into the database of presenters @ htl to develop classes on hypnothoughts that anyone would see the benefits of joining a payed site. Presenters could get exposure to new students and fill their pre/post seminars, a win win solution to a known problem. But nothing will save this site if you can't get involvement from the brain. The brain is key and the Generals need support to keep the soldiers in line.
